CONNECT is a home education social group for families educating their children at home where a space is being made available for families to take part in social activities and build relationships in an environment that is friendly without judgement. This group will be the first parent led session to launch as part of our Community Champions Programme. Read more
Advice and a slice is a young person drop in session that provides a confidential space for young people to access one to one support about any issue affecting their lives including relationships, employment, education, substance education, youth violence and wellbeing – all over a slice of pizza and a cold drink. Pitsop is a sensory friendly youth session available on a Wednesday evening for young people with additional support needs or may struggle in larger group settings. Flyby is an advice and guidance service where young people can book in one to one appointments to get support in a variety of areas including employment, housing, education and benefits advice. Youth Club runs every Tuesday and Thursday evening and is available to any young person aged 10 – 17 year old. With a range of activities available this session is completely young person led and every activity that takes place is a direct result of engaging with the young people that attend. T ROADZ is an aspiring rapper who regularly attends The Pump to record music. His aspirations were able to flourish through The Pump as he was able to regularly access the recording studio for free, he could access the studio to work on his music regularly and this gave Tyreece the opportunity to practice, which would then give him the courage to perform for live audiences.
